Industrial Equipment Assembler
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Industrial Equipment Assembler for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build, disassemble, and rebuild industrial equipment while developing valuable hands-on experience with mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, structural, and plastic components. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, tool-based work and takes pride in safe, precise assembly.
 
Pay Rate
$20.00 per hour and up based on experience.
 
Schedule and Hours
  • 1st shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • 2nd shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

 

Industrial Equipment Assembler Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble component parts, subassemblies, and completed units, including electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, structural, and plastic components.
  • Use hand tools, small power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble and rebuild machinery for shipment.
  • Work safely and effectively in hot or cold temperatures.
  • Closely follow safety regulations and workplace guidelines.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including arm guards, hard hats, steel-toe footwear, and safety glasses.
  • Secure loads properly and handle equipment and components carefully to help prevent damage.

 

Industrial Equipment Assembler Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in the use of various hand tools.
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen required.
