Sheet Metal Sliding Associate 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Sheet Metal Sliding Associate for a company based in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to primarily be responsible for safely moving, aligning, and preparing sheet metal materials for production and shipment.
 
Pay Rate 
$20.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 9 00 am to 5 00 pm (or until finished)
 
Sheet Metal Sliding Associate Duties and Responsibilities
  • Slide and transfer sheet metal safely between skids, workstations, and production areas
  • Align sheet metal so materials remain straight, flush, and properly positioned
  • Inspect sheet metal for visible damage, defects, or incorrect dimensions before processing
  • Prepare, stack, separate, and package sheet metal according to work orders and customer requirements
  • Apply labels or customer tags to completed materials and maintain an organized work area
 
Sheet Metal Sliding Associate Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material-handling tasks for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle sheet metal carefully and follow work orders and measurements accurately
  • Must follow all safety protocols and guidelines during operation
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen INCLUDING THC
