Quality Control/Customer Service Representative 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Quality Control/Customer Service Representative for a company based in Hanceville, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being part of a dynamic team making building materials. 
Pay Rate  
$18 per hour
Schedule and Hours  
5am to 5pm – Monday to Friday
Customer Service & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding orders, product quality, and delivery status.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, production personnel, and management.
  • Respond to customer questions, concerns, and quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, inspection reports, and order documentation.
  • Assist with order tracking, paperwork, and other administrative duties as needed.
  • Communicate customer specifications and special requirements to appropriate plant personnel.
  • Assist with resolving customer concerns and coordinating corrective actions when necessary.
Quality Control & Plant Inspection Responsibilities
  • Perform visual inspections of galvanized products to ensure they meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
  • Inspect materials for coating coverage, appearance, finish, and other quality requirements.
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects, inconsistencies, or potential quality issues.
  • Verify products meet applicable customer requirements prior to shipment.
  • Work closely with production personnel to address quality concerns and prevent recurring issues.
  • Complete quality inspection documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in investigating customer complaints and identifying potential root causes.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment while working in production areas.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, customer service, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers as well as production employees.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness and ability to work in an industrial plant environment and perform hands-on inspections.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to regularly move between an office setting and an active manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the production facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to access inspection areas and safely navigate the plant floor.
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, protective footwear, hearing protection, and other required safety equipment.
  • Exposure to typical industrial manufacturing conditions, including noise, heat, and varying temperatures.
