Automation Personnel Services is excited to partner with a top-tier Plastic Manufacturing and distribution facility in Pasadena, TX, to hire a skilled and dependable Plastic Manufacturing Maintenance Technician. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Tarifa de pago<\/strong>
$23.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Horario y horas<\/strong>
Training time: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (some weekends and overtime may be required)<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Regular Shift: 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. (overtime and weekends as needed)<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Plastic Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Duties & Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Collaborate with production staff, Quality Assurance, and fellow maintenance technicians to maximize plant efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery and systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Follow preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and prevent equipment failure.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Perform daily maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including stackers, conveyors, elevators, steel drum lines, and telescopic conveyors, ensuring safe and efficient operation.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Record, document, and report maintenance activities, data, and performance metrics.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Plastic Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Qualifications & Requirements<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Must be able to work in manufacturing conditions (heat, noise, confined areas).<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures in English.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Basic PLC knowledge is a plus but not required.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of mechanical, electrical, & hydraulic.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
