Para cumplir con estas especificaciones, algunas empresas ahora dependen en gran medida de las agencias de empleo temporal para cubrir su fuerza laboral.<\/p>\n<h2>Per\u00edodo de revisi\u00f3n retrospectiva<\/h2>\n<p>Una de las salvedades de la ACA que se aplica directamente a las empresas de contrataci\u00f3n de personal es el per\u00edodo de referencia. Este par\u00e1metro se refiere al n\u00famero de horas que un empleado debe trabajar en un puesto de tiempo completo \u2014que por lo general es de al menos 30 horas por semana\u2014 antes de que su empleador est\u00e9 obligado a ofrecerle una cobertura m\u00ednima esencial. Un empleador que no brinde cobertura m\u00ednima esencial a al menos 70% de sus empleados a tiempo completo estar\u00e1 sujeto a un impuesto espec\u00edfico, que asciende a $167 (hasta $2,000 al a\u00f1o) por cada empleado a tiempo completo.
