Reach Truck FL Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Reach Truck FL Operator looking for a long-term full-time career opportunity. The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for efficiently and safely operating a reach truck to pick, move, locate, relocate, and stack materials as part of the order fulfillment process. The operator ensures that warehouse and inventory functions run smoothly by accurately retrieving products for orders, relocating stock as needed, and maintaining an organized and clean workspace.
Pay Range:
$18.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours: 
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
 
Reach Truck FL Operator Reach Truck FL Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate a reach truck to efficiently pick and retrieve products from high shelves or racking systems to fulfill orders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order picking based on provided pick lists or RF scanner instructions, maintaining precision in product handling.
  • Relocate materials within the warehouse as needed, organizing and restocking inventory to ensure easy accessibility for future orders.
  • Safely load and unload products from trucks or staging areas using the reach truck, ensuring minimal product damage.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe and optimal operation of the reach truck.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by following warehouse safety protocols and cleaning up workspaces after completing tasks.
Reach Truck FL Operator Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven 2+ years of experience as a Reach Truck Operator or in a similar warehouse role, with a focus on order picking.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the ability to consistently follow safety guidelines.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for accurate order picking and inventory tracking.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various warehouse conditions (e.g., cold or hot environments).
 
Full-time, temporary to permanent.
