Furniture Assembler
Automation Personnel Services is seeking FURNITURE ASSEMBLERS for a company located in New Orleans. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of hand and power tools, as well as the ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and diagrams.

Pay Rate 
$15 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Varies depending on assignment; most start times range between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
 
Furniture Assembler Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with detailed building and installation of products according to project specifications
  • Maintain consistency on assigned builds to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Follow all safety procedures and job site guidelines
  • Work as part of a stable, daily crew to minimize retraining and job slowdowns
Furniture Assembler Qualifications and Requirements: 
  • Must be able to read and interpret floor plans and accurately understand physical layout in relation to workspace and furniture placement
  • Must be able to read a tape measure with accuracy
  • Must have your own basic tools (tool list will be provided)
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance
  • Previous installation, construction, or carpentry experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
  • Strong attention to detail due to repetitive, detail-oriented builds
  • **** MUST BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY DRILL BITS AND HOW THEY ARE USED FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS
