Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Delivery Driver for a company based in Houston Tx. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such loading and unloading, delivering material locally to customers throughout Houston and surrounding areas. NO CDL is required. VALID Driver’s License needed.
Pay Rate: $17.00 Schedule and Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities • Properly and safely load and unload machinery
• Deliver machinery to locations safely and on schedule • Ability to operate a box truck or flat bed vehicle
• Provide customer service • Complete necessary documentation upon pickup and delivery • Inspect machinery and load for safety handling and transporting Delivery Driver Requirements and Qualifications • High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred) • Good communication skills both verbal and written. • Must have a valid driver’s license. Clean driving record. • Current DOT and TWIC Card required
• Experience in operating either box trucks or flat beds
• Experience in connecting trailers to hitch • Ability to lift, push or pull equipment or merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds. Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Hire Benefits
