FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
  
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Facility Maintenance Technician for a reputable company in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facility systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You will work with a well-established, safety-focused organization known for offering strong training, opportunities for professional growth, and a collaborative team environment that values technical expertise, preventative maintenance, and attention to detail.
 
Pay Rate 
$24.00 hour
 
Schedule and Hours 

2-2-3 schedule

Nights 6:00PM- 6:00AM
 
Facility Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex issues with industrial equipment, including CNC machines and logic controllers.
  • Conduct electrical tests.
  • Utilize schematics and diagrams to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Work with high-voltage systems, including electrical panels and circuit breakers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and management to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Document all maintenance tasks and repairs in a detailed and accurate manner.
Facility Maintenance Qualifications and Requirements
 
  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance and electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with logic controllers and CNC machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
  • Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, including ohmmeters and voltmeters.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage systems and electrical panels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
