Forklift Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Forklift Operator for a company based in Cartersville, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to safely operate forklifts and material–handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store products within the warehouse. You will support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations while maintaining accuracy, following safety regulations, and keeping areas organized to ensure efficient warehouse operations. This is full time temporary to hire.
 
Pay Rate 
$15.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours 
1st shift: 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday -Friday
 
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and stack materials throughout the warehouse.
• Handle receiving and shipping by staging, verifying, and securing products for inbound and outbound orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by organizing stock, scanning or recording movements, and following storage procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and delivery schedules.

Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements 
• Previous warehouse or forklift experience. 
• Basic warehouse skills, including reading work orders, using scanners, and simple math.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, stand for long periods, and work in a warehouse setting.
• Attention to detail to prevent product damage and inventory errors.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality to meet daily productivity goals.
