General Labor
Automation Personnel Services is looking for General Labor for a company based in North Houston, Texas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing, woman-owned manufacturer of pipe manufacturing and fabrication company.
Pay Rate
$14.00/$16.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Saturday, 7:00am to 7:00pm
40+ hours a week, sometimes over 60 hours per week.
General Labor Duties and Responsibilities
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training via vocational school or trade apprenticeship is a plus
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• State licensure for hazardous materials handling and/or union certification preferred, though not mandatory
• Physically capable of standing, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 40 lbs regularly
• Comfortable with working at heights, including climbing tall ladders and operating on elevated platforms
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a consistently positive attitude
• Effective in both independent tasks and collaborative team environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is an advantage
• Committed to completing tasks promptly and with attention to detail
• Maintains proper care of tools and equipment, including cleaning and secure storage
