General Labor
Automation Personnel Services is looking for someone who is interested in a General Labor position for a company based in the Alliance area in Fort Worth, TX.  In this role, you will perform high-level, complex operations such as inspection, assembly, disassembly, packing, and testing for mobile phones and other similar electronic products, as well as material supply and scrap coordination, and other tasks assigned to meet production targets (quality, quantity, and time).
 
Pay Rate 
$16.00 per Hour
 
Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Plus Overtime on Saturday
 
General Labor Duties and Responsibilities 
• Repair, assemble, and reassemble components using the appropriate manual or mechanical tools and work instructions.
• Use the required tools and handling methods to help protect products from scratches, drops, or other damage.
• Follow the process for rejected phones, including recording the quantity, failure code, and type of failure.
• Receive, check, inspect, and manage non-compliant materials.
• Follow the quality standards listed in the work instructions.
• Report any non-conforming materials, tools, or equipment used during assembly, disassembly, or testing.
• Help train junior operators when needed.
• Check equipment and tools for needed replacements, malfunctions, or repairs, and report issues to the MFO or Line Leader.
• Follow required ESD practices and use protective items such as a wrist band, heel strap, ESD gown, and other required gear.
• Help protect and maintain assigned materials and equipment.
• Receive, manage, and store materials for the line or shipping area while helping maintain proper inventory levels.
• Use designated tools for the job and ask for help when needed to help prevent workmanship errors.
 
General Labor Qualifications and Requirements 
• Able to read and follow work instructions, understand assigned tasks, and complete them correctly.
• Basic understanding of the production flow process and the responsibilities of the assigned area.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Keep the work area clean and organized each day according to 5S standards.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Reliable and Punctual
• Take part in Lean Manufacturing, EMC Teams, and/or FIH key principles related to quality, cost, productivity, and social responsibility.
• Help keep work area policies, procedures, and work instructions current and followed.
• Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks
• Support the effectiveness of the Quality Management System according to applicable standards.
• Help meet customer, regulatory, and applicable work requirements
