HOUSEKEEPING ASSOCIATE
Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Housekeeping Associate for a medical facility in Mobile, AL. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the facility.  You will play a vital role in patient care and safety by minimizing the risk of infection and creating a comfortable environment for patients and staff. 
 
Pay Rate 
1ST Shift- $13.00 per hour
2nd Shift- $13.00 per hour
3rd Shift- $14.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours 
Shifts run 7 days per week– days off rotate
1st Shift 7am-3:30pm
2nd Shift 3pm-11:30pm
3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am
 
Housekeeping Associate Duties and Responsibilities
 • Change linens, clean surfaces, and restock supplies
 • Appropriate handling and disposal of medical waste 
 • Clean & disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, waiting areas, and other public spaces
 • Adhere to strict infection control procedures, such as proper hand hygiene 
 • Properly disposing of various types of waste, including regular trash and potentially hazardous medical waste, according to established protocols 
 • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored  
 • Communicating effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff, and interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner 
 
Housekeeping Associate Qualifications and Requirements 
 • The ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods   
 • A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection
 • Effectively managing time to complete assigned tasks within established timeframe
 • Clear and effective communication with colleagues
 • Background and Drug Screen are required for this position
that require lifting, bending, and carrying 
 • 25lb lift throughout workday (in office assessment will be conducted)
