Inventory Control Specialist

INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist for a company based in St. Gabriel, Louisiana.  In this position you will make a tangible impact on daily operations and become the guardian of our client's product flow in St. Gabriel. You'll be crucial in managing incoming goods while guaranteeing every item meets rigorous food safety protocols. This is your chance to ensure quality and efficiency in a vital role for a growing company.

Pay Rate 
$17 to $21 per hour (DOE)

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Inventory Control Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
  • Foster a safe and clean work environment following all company implemented safety standards
  • Safely and knowledgeably operate and maintain all authorized machinery and tools as required, including but not limited to transfer belts, tape machines, scales, temperature probes and pallet jacks
  • Calculate and set-up physical space and layout for maximum efficiency
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with inventory
  • Performs other duties as assigned
 Inventory Control Specialist Qualifications and Requirements 
  • Ability for prolonged and repetitive motions of standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, climbing, reaching overhead and arms/hands dexterity.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines independently with excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • 5 years of warehouse management experience
