FORKLIFT OPERATOR-JOB FAIR DEC. 5TH-31ST 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Forklift Operators for a companies based in Baytown, Channelview, LaPorte,  and Pasadena, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the operation of a sit-down Forklift to load and unload trailers, stack pallets, and stage pallets or containers for shipping.
 
Pay Rate 
$15.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
 
Schedule and Hours 
Various schedules available
 
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect, unload, and put away products from inbound trailers, containers, and railcars via Forklift. 
  • Pick orders and load product onto trailers, containers, and railcars. 
  • Utilize all material handling technology like scanners etc. to maximize efficiency and maintain accurate inventory. 
 
Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications
  • Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift. 
  •  Basic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperwork. 
  • Ability to operate technology equipment including Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners to manage inventory.
  • Previous lift truck experience, loading and unloading trailers, containers, and railcars, preferred. 
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, preferred. 
  • Experience operating lift trucks with attachments such as forks, box clamp, roll clamp or pulp clamp and High Reach.
  • Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities. 
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written. 
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds safely. (Assessment administered in Office)
