Local CDL Driver
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable Local CDL Driver for a company based in Dalton, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a company that values safety, reliability, and employee growth while supporting daily transportation and delivery operations. This is a direct hire position. 

Pay Rate 
$20-22 

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 7:00am-4pm, or 8:00am-5:00pm  

Local CDL Driver Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely operate CDL vehicles to transport materials and products to designated locations 
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance 
  • Load and unload materials as needed while maintaining accurate delivery documentation 
  • Maintain communication with dispatches and customers regarding delivery schedules 
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
Local CDL Driver Qualifications and Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A or B license required 
  • CDL driving experience required 
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT drug screen 
  • Must be able to pass a background check 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions as needed 
  • Steel toe boots required and flexibility to work overtime when needed
