Maintenance Mechanic
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Maintenance Mechanic for a company based in Baytown, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing of production lines, and automated machinery.

Pay Rate
$20 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. 
 
Maintenance Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Tech will be working on production lines, on automated packaging equipment, sprockets and chains, gear box, brackets, rollers, conveyor belts.
  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Repair of mechanical equipment including pumps, gear reducers, seals, bearings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, blowers, conveyors, air locks and lubrication.
  • Analyze and solve electro/mechanical problems of processing, packaging, and auxiliary equipment. 
  • Maintain maintenance records and ordering of parts. 
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of AC motors and VFD’s.
  • Use of electrical test equipment as needed for repair and troubleshooting.
  • Required to have own tools.
  • Lifting ability up to 75 pounds. (assessment will be administered in office)
