Maintenance Mechanic

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure shop equipment, machinery, and building systems operate safely and efficiently in support of a large heat exchanger manufacturing parts and service company.

Pay Rate:
$27.00 – $32.00 Depending on Experience

Schedule and Hours
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Maintenance Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform general maintenance and repairs on shop equipment and building systems safely and in accordance with company standards
· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery; read and follow prints and schematics as required
· Conduct operator inspections, maintain clean and safe work areas, and ensure equipment is operating properly
· Communicate with supervision regarding equipment downtime, needed repairs, and ordering of parts, supplies, and safety materials
· Support production as needed by working in other areas and completing assigned projects efficiently and safely
· Follow all company rules, procedures, and standard work while actively participating in safety, 5S, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
· 1–3 years of experience in ASME Code fabrication or equivalent manufacturing/maintenance experience preferred
· Basic understanding of heat exchanger terminology and manufacturing processes
· Strong knowledge of safety practices and ability to work safely in an industrial environment
· Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills
· Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks or projects
· Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background check.
