Maintenance Millwright

Automation Personnel Services is looking for dedicated associates to work in the Maintenance Department of a concrete company based in Lebanon, TN. They are one of the largest precast concrete manufacturers in the industry. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operations manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions.
 
Pay Rate 
$26.00 – $28.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours
1st Shift 5:00am to 5:00pm
 
Maintenance Millwright Duties and Responsibilities 
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation systems, electrical components, mechanical equipment, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, utilizing knowledge of automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic principles.
• Install, configure, and calibrate automation systems, including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and other control devices.
• Conduct inspections and tests on machinery and equipment to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Collaborate with production personnel and other maintenance team members to address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout, arc flash safety, and other relevant safety measures.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
• Stay updated with advancements in automation technology, electrical systems, mechanical engineering, and hydraulic systems through ongoing training and professional development.
 
 
 
Maintenance Millwright Qualifications and Requirements 
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent training in maintenance millwrighting.
• Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong technical skills in automation systems, electrical systems, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems.
• Profeciency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout, arc flash safety and other relevant safety measures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
• Adaptability to new technologies, equipment, and industry trends.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Lifting required with assistance provided if needed.
• Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching.
• Standing for extended period of time.
