MFG Electrical Assembler
Automation Personnel Services has an exciting opportunity for a MFG Electrical Assembler to join a team based in Charlotte. The Electrical Assembler is responsible for building, wiring, and testing electrical components and sub-assemblies. This includes everything from small circuit boards to industrial control panels. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure all products meet strict quality control standards.

7:30am to 4:00pm

MFG Electrical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities
- Component Assembly: Mount components such as transformers, resistors, transistors, and integrated circuits onto chassis or panels.
- Wiring & Soldering: Cut, strip, crimp, and route wires to connect components. Perform precision soldering on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) connections.
- Quality Control: Conduct continuity tests and basic functional checks using multimeters and oscilloscopes to ensure circuits are live and safe.
- Read blueprints, mechanical assembly drawings and schematics.
- Understanding of mechanical components and transmissions (no automobile).
- Assembly of mechanical parts on bench and machinery
- Tool Management: Skillfully use hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns) and power tools (drills, soldering irons).
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols. Problem solution oriented suggesting ideas for continuous improvement on procedures and protocols.
MFG Electrical Assembler Qualifications and Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or electrical environment.
- Ability to identify electrical components and read color codes on wires/resistors.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to stand for long periods.
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow repetitive processes without losing focus.
