Painter (Industrial / Commercial)
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a reliable Painter
to join our team for a company based in Katy, Texas to perform surface preparation and apply coatings for industrial and commercial projects. Work may include indoor and outdoor environments.
 
Pay Rate
$18.00 an hour  
 
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
 
Painter Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, masking)
• Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Mix and match paints and coatings per specifications
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking
• Inspect completed work for quality and consistency
• Maintain tools and equipment
 
Painter Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED 
• Minimum 2 years of painting experience (industrial/commercial preferred)
• Ability to work at heights (ladders/scaffolding)
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and attendance
