PARTS COUNTER ASSOCIATE
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced, reliable Parts Counter Associate for a well-established heavy equipment machinery dealer based in Mobile, AL.  If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy helping customers, and have a passion for heavy equipment and parts sales, this is your chance to join a stable company offering weekly pay, benefits starting day one, and long-term career growth. Pay Rate 
$18.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday 
7:30AM – 5:00PM 
 
Parts Counter Associate Duties and Responsibilities 
• Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
• Inform customers of companion part requirements while ensuring the customer is exposed to the full product line
• Answer incoming phone calls and counter inquiries, providing price quotes and other information as needed
• Perform intake and pick up on rental items 
• Keep an up-to-date listing of all company inventory
• Pull and fill orders from stock
• Unloading of whole goods freight
• Learn and execute financing options in order to assist customers
• Conduct a physical final check of rentals prior to pick up
• Follow up on back-ordered parts and replenish assigned inventory daily
• Assist outside sales representatives with their orders
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory as specified
 
Parts Counter Associate Qualifications and Requirements 
• Ability to lift/push/pull items weighing up to 50lbs (Lift Assessment conducted)
• Forklift certified
• Must have at least 3 years of previous parts/inventory experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, and able to maintain a professional image and demeanor 
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
• Must have at least a moderate level of point-of-sale system experience
• Must have a valid Driver’s License 
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background and drug test)
• Ability to see in full range color
