Plumber’s Helper
Automation Personnel Services is seeking reliable and hardworking Plumber Helpers to assist licensed plumbers on residential and commercial job sites throughout the New Orleans metro area. In this role, you will support the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, assist with material preparation, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ideal candidates have experience with residential and/or commercial plumbing, are dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with opportunities for advancement.
 
Pay Rate  
Depending on experience.
 
Schedule and Hours  
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm. 
 
Plumber’s Helper Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Assist plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. 
  • Carry and organize tools, materials, and equipment needed for each job. 
  • Dig trenches and prepare job sites as required. 
  • Cut, measure, and assemble pipes under the supervision of a licensed plumber. 
  • Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment. 
  • Follow all safety guidelines and adhere to job site procedures. 
  • Support the team by loading and unloading materials and assisting with job site setup.
Plumber’s Helper Requirement 
  • Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required. 
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks is required. 
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred. 
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. 
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are required. 
  • The ability to work in various weather conditions and environments is necessary.
