Production Department Supervisor

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Production Department Supervisor for a company based in [City, State]. In this role, you will lead a production team in a fiberglass manufacturing environment while ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to grow their career while managing a team and supporting daily manufacturing operations.

Pay Rate
$45,000 – $50,000 per year

Schedule and Hours
Schedule to be determined based on production needs.

Production Department Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of 15–25 production employees, providing training and daily guidance.
  • Ensure work orders are prepared, completed, and production schedules meet customer shipping deadlines.
  • Enforce quality standards, SOPs, and safety procedures within the department.
  • Monitor department KPIs, conduct quality checks, and ensure correct materials are used in production.
  • Manage employee attendance, time corrections in KRONOS, and enforce company policies when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S standards and support minor equipment or die repairs as needed.

Production Department Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production supervisor role preferred.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Ability to train employees and enforce safety and quality procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment with variable temperatures.
  • Ability to learn and operate machinery within the department when needed.
