Tire Counter Sales Associate
Job Summary
The Tire Counter Sales Associate is a customer-focused, sales-driven role responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience while maximizing tire and service sales. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing product recommendations, closing sales, and ensuring smooth service from check-in to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
  • Educate customers on tire options, features, warranties, and promotions
  • Prepare accurate quotes, invoices, and service orders
  • Close sales and meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services when appropriate
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and urgency
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate service flow with technicians
  • Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or automotive sales preferred
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable discussing pricing and closing sales
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Basic computer and POS system skills

  • Consistently deliver high customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accuracy in orders, pricing, and customer information
  • Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move tires up to 50 lbs
  • Stand and work on feet for extended periods
  • Work in a shop environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
