SAW OPERATOR 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Saw Operator for a company based in Shelby, AL. With this opportunity you will be part of a trusted leader in building materials, where your work as a Saw Operator supports quality construction—and your growth matters just as much as the projects completed.

Pay Rate 
$15.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Saturday, 6 00 am to 2 30 pm.

Saw Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operating basic saws such <span fr-original-style="font-family:Arial;" style="font-family: Arial; box-sizing: border-box; font-size: inherit;">as; pop-up, miter and web saws to cut wood
  • Reviewing work orders to determine cuts and adjusting saws for required cuts.
  • Ensuring proper feeding and stacking of lumber after processing. 
  • Advising supervisors about dull blades and equipment maintenance. 
Saw Operator Qualifications and Requirements
  • Prior on the job experience with saw operations. 
  • Strength and stamina to lift materials up to 50 pounds. 
  • Extreme attention to detail. 
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
