SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE/FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Shipping & Receiving Associate / Forklift Operator to join our team in Long Beach, MS. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, operating forklifts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.

Schedule and Hours  
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
 
Shipping & Receiving Associate / Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments for delivery or pickup.
• Accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage and organization of materials.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment processing.
 
Shipping & Receiving Associate / Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience required. (Certified)
• Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials.
• Basic computer and inventory management skills preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and packing slips.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation
