SHOP WORKER

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Shop Workers in Baytown, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced shop environment assembling industrial hoses.
 
Starting pay:  $16.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours:
7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday-Friday 

Shop Metal Worker Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must be able to work on Day Shift and be flexible in work hours and duties, willing to assist and cross-train in various departments.
  • Proficient in the use of tape measures to convert inches to decimals, grinders, and hand-held tools..
  • Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
  • Move products, tools or fixtures between storage and work areas, by hand.
  • Be able to work in fast paces setting paying close attention to detail.
 
Shop Metal Worker Requirements and Qualifications
  • Basic assembly skills, knowledge, or experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Must know how to use a tape measure, calipers and micrometer is required.
  • Employees must be able to pay close attention to details and thoroughly in completing work tasks.
  • Excellent coordination and good physical condition
  • Able to work in extreme temperatures.
