Take up Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Take up Operator for a company based in Hartselle, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure safe and efficient operations while supporting the team in meeting production goals and customer expectations.

Pay Rate 
$19.36 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential

Schedule and Hours 
Rotating 2-2-3, 7 00 pm to 7 00 am.

Take up Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist extrusion operator with the packaging of reels and coils and ensures the best cosmetic presentation possible.
  • Wrap reels and coils as necessary with plastic wrap.
  • Ensures that measurements on reels and coils are accurate as specified.
  • Move materials by hand, using hoist, overhead crane or forklift.
  • Moving finished wire from takeup by rolling reels out of machine for pickup by forklift. 
Take up Operator Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Material handling experience preferred.
  • Strong math skills (addition, multiplication, subtraction, division, fractions).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to accurately distinguish colors.
