Teardown Associate
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Teardown Associate for a company based in Tallassee, AL. In this role, you are responsible for the safe and efficient recovery and reclamation of parts from HVAC systems. They play a crucial role in environmental sustainability by ensuring the proper handling, recycling, and disposal of HVAC components, in compliance with industry regulations.
Pay Rate  
$17.00 per hour 
Schedule and Hours  
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.
(Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.) 
Teardown Associate Duties and Responsibilities 
• Previous manufacturing or construction experience. 
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment. 
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and their environmental impact.
Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and thorough recovery.

• Handle and sort materials through the reclaim process. 
• Identify and address any potential issues with the equipment during the recovery process. 
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in all reclaim activities.

Teardown Associate Qualifications and Requirements  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust/oil. 
• Able to use hand and power tools, including metal cutting saws. 
• Works with a positive attitude and is a team player. 
• Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects. 
• Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. 
• Able to handle and sort different materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proper unexpired documents required to complete the Federal I-9 process.
• Background and Drug Testing are required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
