Picker and Packer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Picker and Packer for a company based in Charlotte, North Carolina.  In this role, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain process by accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment. This role involves various tasks to ensure the efficient and accurate distribution of goods.
 
Pay Rate
 $15.00 per hour. 
 
Schedule and Hours
 Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
 
Picker and Packer Duties and Responsibilities
  • Order Picking: Retrieve items from shelves or storage areas according to order lists, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Packaging: Prepare products for shipment by properly packing, sealing, and labeling them in compliance with company and shipping guidelines.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of equipment and handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
  • Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines, contributing to the smooth flow of products within the warehouse.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
 
Picker and Packer Qualifications and Requirements 
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. per shift; extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Demonstrates a courteous and respectful demeanor when interacting with colleagues. 
  • Possesses proficient communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential requirements for this position.
