Warehouse Manager – First Shift | Air-Conditioned Warehouse
Established & Growing Dog Treat Company – Tampa, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
 Position: Full-Time, Permanent
 Pay: Starting at $25/hour, higher based on experience
About the Opportunity
We are an established, growing dog treat company seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead a team of 10+ employees in our clean, air-conditioned Tampa warehouse.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership, pays attention to details, leads by example, and enjoys finding better ways to get things done.
This position offers significant autonomy. We believe in empowering capable managers to make decisions, solve problems, and improve operations without micromanagement. Success is measured by results, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Leadership
  • Oversee daily receiving, inventory, packaging, labeling, production, and shipping.
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of 10+ warehouse employees.
  • Plan daily production priorities, monitor productivity, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, product quality, organization, and workplace safety.
  • Take ownership of operational results, proactively addressing problems before they become costly mistakes.
SOPs & Process Improvement
  • Develop, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production, inventory, quality control, and safety.
  • Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
  • Establish practical systems and checklists to ensure consistency and prevent recurring errors.
  • Train employees on procedures and ensure they are followed.
Technology & Communication
  • Use warehouse software, Excel or Google Sheets, and digital reporting tools to organize and track operations.
  • Embrace AI tools to improve workflows, SOP development, reporting, and administrative efficiency.
  • Learn new technology and software as business needs evolve.
  • Proactively communicate operational results, challenges, and proposed solutions to company leadership.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong leadership, organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency, including basic Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse or inventory management software.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take accountability for results.
  • Willingness to embrace AI, new technology, and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience in food products, packaging, or light manufacturing.
  • Food safety training or certifications (GMP, HACCP, PCQI).
  • Experience developing SOPs or improving warehouse operations.
  • Forklift experience or certification.
