WOODEN TRUSS BUILDER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Wooden Truss Builders for a company based in Columbiana, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work for a company which is America’s largest supplier of building materials. You will be using your hands and hammers and other tools to assemble large wooden trusses used in the building industry. English and Spanish Speakers Welcome.

Pay Rate 
$15.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Saturday, 6 00 am to 2 30 pm. 

Wooden Truss Builders Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble building material components such as roof and floor trusses
  • Insert or position materials, clamp, splice, and fit parts by hand and with power tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize assembly processes.
  • Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Wooden Truss Builders Qualifications and Requirements
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift materials up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods while swinging a hammer for 8 to 10hours. 
  • Prior construction experience preferred. 
  • Steel toe boots are required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced non-Climate controlled environment.
  • English and Spanish Speakers are welcome.
